Argentina Raises 2024/25 Soybean Production Estimate by 300,000 Tons
★ The Buenos Aires Grain Exchange (BAGE) has raised Argentina's 2024/25 soybean production estimate to 50.3 million tons, up by 300,000 tons from its previous forecast.
★ Heavy rains in May disrupted harvest operations in several areas and initially raised concerns of potential losses. However, the rainfall ultimately proved beneficial for late-planted soybean crops.
★ As of now, 93.2% of Argentina's soybean area has been harvested.
★ For corn, 46.7% of the 2024/25 crop has been harvested, and production is estimated to reach 49 million tons.
