अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मक्का बाजार
★ सीबोट मक्का मजबूती के साथ बंद।
★ अमरीका से 22 अगस्त वाले सप्ताह में 15,291 टन मक्का के निर्यात सौदे हुए, नई मक्का के सौदे 14 लाख टन पहुंचे। मेक्सिको ने सबसे अधिक 4.2 लाख टन खरीद की।

घरेलू मक्का बाजार
★ मक्का में मुनाफावसूली का समय आ चुका है।
★ इस वर्ष एरिया बढ़ा, बम्पर उत्पादन आने की उम्मीद।
★ कल सरकार ने चावल से एथनोल बनाने की दी मंजूरी, गन्ना रस और चीनी से भी एथनोल उत्पादन की मंजूरी जल्द मिल सकती है।
★ अगर चीनी व गन्ना रस द्वारा एथनोल उत्पादन बढ़ाया गया तो मक्का का एथनोल में इस्तमाल कम हो सकता है।
