Attempt to increase export of pulses and beans from Brazil

Rio de Janeiro. Latin American country- Efforts are being made to increase the production of pulses in Brazil rapidly so that it can also increase its exports by meeting the increasing demand and need in the domestic division.
A exporting firm says that there is a huge demand for pulses in the global market and Brazil has so much capacity that it can supply it well to other countries.
According to the company, during the current year, the production of urad in the country is expected to reach a new record level and almost the entire quantity can be exported.
The farmers of Brazil were earlier indifferent to the cultivation of pulses as it had limited domestic consumption.
But in recent years there was a strong effort to increase its production there and now production is increasing regularly.
Although Soybean and Mecca are two most favorite crops of Brazilian farmers, now there is a lot of emphasis on cotton and wheat as well as yields. The interesting fact is that there is cultivation of pulses thrice a year.
One special thing is that the cultivation of such varieties of pulses in Brazil is being focused on whose domestic consumption or negligible.
There is an annual production of about 33 lakh tonnes of pulses in Brazil, including urad and cowpea etc.
It is being cultivated according to the demand of Asian markets. The government and exporting companies are encouraging farmers to increase the production of these pulses more and more.
