चना की कीमतें नियंत्रित करने व उपलब्धता बनाए रखने के लिए सरकारी बिक्री बढ़ने की सम्भावना
★ कुछ अधिकारीयों ने कहा कि ने जल्द ही स्टॉक में पड़े 5 लाख टन चना की बिक्री की जा सकती है।
★ पिछले 1 महीने से चना की कीमतों में जबरदस्त उछाल देखा गया।
★ त्यौहारी मांग और सप्लाई कमजोर पड़ने से कीमतों को मिला सपोर्ट।
★ बीते सप्ताह दिल्ली चना राजस्थान लाइन 8025 व मध्य प्रदेश लाइन 7900 रुपए पर हुआ बंद।
★ 1 अगस्त को दिल्ली चना राजस्थान लाइन 7250 व मध्य प्रदेश लाइन 7125 रुपए था जो 16 अगस्त को बढ़कर क्रमशः 7950 व 7850 रुपए प्रति क्विंटलपहुंचा।
★ मंडियों में भी चना की कीमतें बढ़ी।
★ गंजबासोदा में अगस्त महीने के अंत में चना 7650 रुपए, इंदौर बिल्टी 7950, सागर 7450, दमोह 7625, जावरा 7700, जूनागढ़ 7500 अमरावती 7600 जोधपुर 7400, सुमेरपुर 7500 रुपए पर हुआ बंद। मुंबई पोर्ट पर चना तंजानिया 7200 व ऑस्ट्रेलिया 7100 रुपए पहुंचा।
★ चना आयात खोले जाने के बाद जनवरी से जून तक 75,409 टन देसी चना का आयात दर्ज किया गया जो गत वर्ष 2,471 टन था।
★ विदेशों में पर्याप्त स्टॉक न होने से आयात उस मात्रा में नहीं बढ़ा जिस मात्रा में बढ़ना चाहिए था।
★ अफ्रीकन देशों में नए चना की आवक शुरू, ऑस्ट्रेलिया में नया चना अक्टूबर के बाद आएगा।
★ कीमतों को नियंत्रित करने के लिए सरकार के पास कई विकल्प उपलब्ध जैसे कि स्टॉक लिमिट घटाना, काबुली चना आयात शुल्क में कटौती करना या हटाना या फिर मटर आयात अवधि को बढ़ाए जाना।

Possibility of increasing government sales to control the prices of gram and maintain its availability
★ Some officials said that 5 lakh tonnes of gram lying in stock can be sold soon.
★ A tremendous jump has been seen in the prices of gram for the last 1 month.
★ Prices got support due to weak festive demand and supply.
★ Last week, Delhi gram closed at Rajasthan line 8025 and Madhya Pradesh line at Rs 7900.
★ On August 1, Delhi gram Rajasthan line was Rs 7250 and Madhya Pradesh line was Rs 7125, which increased to Rs 7950 and Rs 7850 per quintal respectively on August 16.
★ Prices of gram also increased in the markets.
★ At the end of August, gram closed at Rs. 7650 in Ganjbasoda, Indore Billi 7950, Sagar 7450, Damoh 7625, Javra 7700, Junagadh 7500, Amravati 7600, Jodhpur 7400, Sumerpur 7500. Gram reached Tanzania at Rs. 7200 and Australia at Rs. 7100 at Mumbai Port.
★ After opening of gram import, 75,409 tons of Desi gram import was recorded from January to June which was 2,471 tons last year.
★ Due to lack of sufficient stock abroad, import did not increase to the extent it should have.
★ Arrival of new gram has started in African countries, new gram will come to Australia after October.
★ Several options are available to the government to control prices such as reducing stock limits, reducing or eliminating chickpea import duty or extending the pea import period.
