चीन से घटी मटर की आयात मांग
★ चालू वर्ष के 6 महीनों में चीन ने केवल 6.57 लाख टन मटर का किया आयात गत वर्ष की समानअवधि से 22% कम।
★ 2023 में चीन ने 26 लाख टन किया था मटर का आयात। 2022 से 64% अधिक।
★ 2023 में कनाडा की हिस्सेदारी 60% व रशिया की 34% पहुंची।
★ उपरोक्त अवधि के दौरान भारत को मटर का निर्यात 90% बढ़ा।
★ 28 जून को अमरीका ने चीन से मटर प्रोटीन आयात पर एंटी डंपिंग ड्यूटी लगाई थी साथ ही 22 जुलाई 2024 को कनाडा बॉर्डर सर्विस एजेंसी ने भी ड्यूटी को 1.1% से बढ़ाकर चीन के लिए 54.6% किया जिसके कारण चीन को अब केवल फीड के लिए ही करना होगा मटर का निर्यात।
★ चीन को प्रोटीन मटर निर्यात के लिए ढूंढना होगा दूसरा देश।

Decreased import demand for peas from China
★ In the 6 months of the current year, China imported only 6.57 lakh tonnes of peas, 22% less than the same period last year.
★ In 2023, China imported 26 lakh tonnes of peas. 64% more than 2022.
★ In 2023, Canada's share reached 60% and Russia's 34%.
★ During the above period, pea exports to India increased by 90%.
★ On June 28, the US imposed anti-dumping duty on pea protein imports from China, and on July 22, 2024, the Canada Border Service Agency also increased the duty from 1.1% to 54.6% for China, due to which China will now have to export peas only for feed.
★ China will have to find another country for protein pea exports.
