चीनी उद्योग के लिए राहत भरी खबर

★ सरकार खोल सकती है कच्ची चीनी की घरेलू बिक्री।

★ प्रपोजल को डिपार्टमेंट में भेजा गया।

★ रिफाइंड चीनी के मुकाबले कच्ची चीनी में मिलों को होता है ज्यादा फायदा।

★ यह नियम गुड़ व खांडसारी उद्योग के लिए भी लागू हो सकता है।

★ इस प्रपोज़ल में खांडसारी उद्योग जिनकी क्षमता 500 टन गन्ना प्रतिदिन है होंगी शामिल।

★ सरकार ने चीनी उद्योग से जुड़े कारोबारियों से 3 सितम्बर तक मांगा फीडबैक।

★ सितम्बर 2024 महीने के लिए 23.5 लाख टन चीनी कोटा दिया गया। अगस्त 2024 में कोटा 22 लाख टन और सितम्बर 2023 में 25 लाख टन था।

★ अगस्त के मुकाबले सितम्बर में कोटा 6.8% बढ़ा परन्तु गत वर्ष से 6% कम।

★ सीजन 2023-24 में अब तक 291 लाख टन चीनी का हुआ उठान पिछले 5 वर्ष में खपत 20% बढ़ी। 2022-23 में में कुल उठान 276.5 लाख टन था।

★ 2023-24 सीजन में गर्मी पड़ने व चुनाव के कारण खपत में हुआ इजाफा।

Relief news for sugar industry

★ Government can open domestic sale of raw sugar.

★ Proposal was sent to the department.

★ Mills get more profit in raw sugar as compared to refined sugar.

★ This rule can also be applicable for jaggery and sugar candies industry.

★ This proposal will include sugar candies industries which have a capacity of 500 tonnes of sugarcane per day.

★ Government has sought feedback from businessmen associated with sugar industry by 3rd September.

★ 23.5 lakh tonnes of sugar quota was given for the month of September 2024. The quota was 22 lakh tonnes in August 2024 and 25 lakh tonnes in September 2023.

★ The quota increased by 6.8% in September as compared to August but 6% less than last year.

★ So far in the season 2023-24, 291 lakh tonnes of sugar has been lifted. Consumption increased by 20% in the last 5 years. In 2022-23, the total lifting was 276.5 lakh tonnes.

★ Consumption increased in the 2023-24 season due to summer and elections.
