चावल निर्यात नियमों में बदलाव क्यों जरुरी
★ देश में 1 अगस्त को 454.8 लाख टन का विशाल स्टॉक उपलब्ध जो स्टॉकिंग नॉर्म्स से की गुना अधिक है।
★ नई खरीद, जो 1 अक्टूबर से शुरू होनी है, से पहले स्टॉक के लिए गोदामों में स्टॉक की कमी को करना होगा दूर।
★ भारत से चावल का निर्यात (बासमती और गैर-बासमती)

★ पिछले कई वर्षों से चावल की खपत उस अनुपात मैं नहीं बढ़ी जितनी गेहूं की बढ़ी। 
★ दक्षिण भारत में दिन में 1 बार गेहूं उत्पादों को खाया जाता है, परन्तु उत्तर भारत में चावल की खपत इस तरह नहीं होती। 
★ आल इंडिया राइस एक्सपोर्टर्स एसोसिएशन ने सरकार से जल्द से जल्द गैर-बासमती वाइट राइस पर लगे प्रतिबंध को हटाने, पार-बॉयल्ड गैर-बासमती पर लगी 20% निर्यात शुल्क तो हटाने या कम करने, बासमती चावल पर लगने वाले $950 डॉलर/टन न्यूनतम निर्यात भाव को घटाने मांग की।
★ निर्यात नियमों में बदलाव या ढील नहीं दे गई तो भविष्य में पूल में चावल का बढ़ता स्टॉक सिरदर्द बन सकता है।
★ पिछले सप्ताह हुई मीटिंग में सरकार के सामने सभी पक्ष रखे गए, जिस पर जल्द ही फैसला लिया जा सकता है।

★ For the last several years, the consumption of rice has not increased in the same proportion as that of wheat.
★ In South India, wheat products are eaten once a day, but rice consumption is not like this in North India.
★ All India Rice Exporters Association demanded the government to remove the ban on non-Basmati white rice as soon as possible, remove or reduce the 20% export duty on par-boiled non-Basmati, and reduce the minimum export price of $950/ton on Basmati rice.
★ If the export rules are not changed or relaxed, the increasing stock of rice in the pool can become a headache in the future.
★ All aspects were presented before the government in the meeting held last week, on which a decision can be taken soon.
