Coriander – Prices Reach Record High
New Delhi. Due to Good Friday, the futures market remained closed today. However, coriander prices have started quoting at record levels in the mandis of Gujarat and Rajasthan. After about a week, mandis in Gujarat reopened and arrivals in the major market of Gondal were reported at 95,000 bags. Depending on quality, prices were quoted at a record ₹115–130 per kg. In Rajasthan’s Ramganj mandi, the price of Coriander Eagle variety was quoted at ₹120–125 per kg. It is noteworthy that the previous record price for coriander was ₹115–120 per kg, which was seen in 2022. Considering the current market situation, it is expected that coriander prices may remain firm during the ongoing season.
