New Delhi. Market experts believe that there is limited possibility of a decline in turmeric prices. It is noteworthy that turmeric prices have already increased by around ₹10 per kg during the past one month. In the Delhi market, the price of turmeric bulb (Gatta) is currently quoted at ₹150–152 per kg. Prices in mandis of producing centers are rising steadily. Sources indicate that while arrivals of new turmeric may increase in the Marathwada line during the current month, arrivals in the Erode, Nizamabad, and Sangli lines are likely to begin declining.
