Due to the Veterans Day federal holiday on Tuesday, the weekly EIA report will be released on Thursday, a day later than usual.
Ahead of Friday’s USDA Crop Production report, a Reuters survey of analysts estimates that corn yield may drop by 2.7 bushels per acre to 184 bpa. If realized, total production would be 16.557 billion bushels, down 257 million bushels from the September report.
The WASDE data will also be released, with corn ending stocks expected at 2.136 billion bushels — up 26 million bushels from September — as the higher-than-expected September 1 corn stocks will be included in the updated Grains Stocks data.
