Ahead of Friday’s USDA Crop Production report, a Reuters survey of analysts estimated that corn yield could fall by 2.7 bushels per acre to 184 bushels per acre. If realized, total production would be 16.557 billion bushels, 257 million bushels lower than the September report.
ANEC has raised its November Brazilian corn export estimate to 6.04 million metric tons, up 0.47 million metric tons from the previous estimate.
Taiwan importers have issued a tender to purchase 65,000 metric tons of corn, which will close on Thursday.
