The USDA reported another private sale of 130,000 metric tons of corn for the 2025/26 crop year to unknown destinations this morning.
Weekly EIA data showed a drop in ethanol production by 80,000 barrels per day in the week of April 17, down to 1.04 million barrels per day. Ethanol stocks rose by 249,000 barrels to 26.948 million barrels. Exports increased by 10,000 barrels per day to 91,000 barrels per day, while refiner inputs of ethanol rose by 46,000 barrels per day.
Export Sales data will be released on Thursday, with traders estimating sales for the week ending April 16 to total 1-1.8 million metric tons for the old crop. New crop sales are estimated in a range of 0 to 250,000 metric tons.
