The 7-day forecast from NOAA shows little to no precipitation for the western half of Kansas and the Texas Panhandle. Areas further east are expected to receive 1 to 2 inches of precipitation.
Weekly Export Sales data will be released on Thursday, with old crop wheat sales estimated in the range of 0 to 250,000 metric tons for the week of April 16. New crop sales are expected in a range of 100,000 to 300,000 metric tons.
SovEcon estimates Russia's wheat crop at 89.7 million metric tons, an increase of 2.1 million metric tons from their previous estimate, citing favorable weather. EU soft wheat exports are projected at 19.01 million metric tons from July 1 to April 19, which is 1.39 million metric tons higher than the same period last year.
