Cotton Arrivals Cross 261.54 Lakh Bales Nationwide
★ As of April 25, 2025, cotton arrivals across India for the 2024-25 season have reached 261.54 lakh bales (each weighing 170 kg), according to the Cotton Association of India (CAI).  
★ Gujarat leads the country with cumulative arrivals of 61.97 lakh bales, followed by Maharashtra at 70.84 lakh bales and Telangana at 47.47 lakh bales. Madhya Pradesh has reported 17.58 lakh bales, while Karnataka stands at 20.58 lakh bales.  
★ On April 25 alone, India witnessed the arrival of 38,300 bales. Gujarat saw the highest daily arrival of 16,800 bales, followed by Maharashtra with 13,800 bales.  
★ The cotton season 2024-25 runs from October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025.
