On Wednesday, ICE cotton futures closed with losses of 50 to 58 points across the front months. Crude oil futures were down $2.56 per barrel to $58.48 so far on the day, while the US dollar index was up $0.084 to 99.400.
Tuesday’s online auction from The Seam showed 6,583 bales sold at an average price of 63.55 cents per pound. The Cotlook A Index rose 60 points on November 11 to 75.80 cents. ICE-certified cotton stocks increased by 3,490 bales on November 11, bringing total certified stocks to 17,239 bales.
