ICE cotton futures were up by 10 to 15 points in the front-month contracts on Wednesday. External markets provided some support as crude oil prices rose by $1.54 to $76.10 per barrel, while the U.S. Dollar Index declined by 0.231 to 98.775.
The Seam platform reported sales of 6,789 bales of cotton on March 3, with an average price of 62.49 cents per pound. The Cotlook A Index fell by 95 points on Tuesday to 74.95 cents per pound. ICE certified cotton stocks remained unchanged at 129,302 bales on March 3. The Adjusted World Price (AWP) was raised by 1.79 cents last week to 51.84 cents per pound.
