ICE cotton futures closed Tuesday’s session with losses of 35 to 43 points. Crude oil futures rose 89 cents per barrel to $61.02, while the U.S. dollar index slipped $0.107 to 99.355.
Monday’s online auction from The Seam showed 3,451 bales sold at an average price of 60.04 cents per pound. The Cotlook A Index dropped 65 points on November 10 to 75.20 cents. ICE certified cotton stocks remained steady at 13,749 bales as of November 7. The Adjusted World Price (AWP) continues to remain unupdated due to the government shutdown.
