ICE Cotton futures posted losses of 8 to 25 points across most contracts on Tuesday. The U.S. dollar index was down $0.215 at $98.815, while crude oil fell $0.85 per barrel.
Monday’s online auction on The Seam showed 628 bales sold at an average price of 60.94 cents per pound. The Cotlook A Index fell 75 points on Friday to 75.30 cents.
ICE certified cotton stocks increased by 122 bales on October 13, bringing the total certified stock level to 16,593 bales.
