Estimated Supply & Demand for Oil Year 2024-2025 (till July 2025)
★ Below are the estimates of supply and demand for soybean and soybean meal for the oil year 2024-2025 (October 2024 to September 2025) till July 2025, along with a comparison to the corresponding period of the previous season.
★ Soybean meal exports have been higher than expected, and the estimated export figure has been revised upward by 1.50 lakh tons to 18.50 lakh tons from the earlier estimate of 17 lakh tons. Consequently, the estimated soybean crushing has been revised to 113 lakh tons from the earlier 110 lakh tons.
★ The carryover stock at the end of this marketing year, i.e., on 1st October 2025, is expected to be significantly lower than last year
