Pulses are exported from Myanmar through both border road and sea route. India is its biggest buyer. There is a huge import of urad and tuvar from Myanmar here.
This time the crop has been good in Myanmar, so there is a good exportable stock of pulses. By the way, Tuvar is imported on a large scale from Myanmar as well as African countries in India, which also includes Mozambique and Malawi.
