Good paddy procurement in Telangana
The paddy procurement in Telangana has shown impressive results this season:
The state government has procured paddy worth Rs. 10,149 crore.
A bonus of Rs.500 per quintal has been provided to farmers.
Total procurement: 47.01 lakh metric tonnes.
Normal paddy: 28.23 lakh metric tonnes.
High-quality paddy: 18.78 lakh metric tonnes (a record figure).
The current procurement is 6 lakh metric tonnes higher than the figures from Kharif 2023.
This demonstrates the government's efforts in supporting farmers and encouraging high-quality paddy production.
