Indonesia Raises Reference Price for Crude Palm Oil in October
★ Indonesia has raised the reference price for crude palm oil (CPO) to $963.61 per ton in October, up from $954.71 per ton in September.
★ The CPO export tax will remain at $124 per ton in October. In addition, an extra 10% levy will also apply on exports.
★ The increase in the reference price is expected to raise export revenues while also supporting efforts to increase the availability of biodiesel in Indonesia’s domestic markets.
