According to this morning's EIA report, ethanol production for the week ending January 24 decreased by 84,000 barrels per day, reaching 1.015 million barrels per day. Ethanol stocks, which had been rising, declined by 152,000 barrels to 25.722 million barrels. Ethanol refinery input increased by 4,000 barrels to 832,000 barrels per day.
The USDA's export sales report is scheduled for release this week, and traders anticipate that the report, set to be published tomorrow morning, will show U.S. corn sales of 0.85 to 1.8 million metric tons (MMT) for the 2024/25 season for the week ending January 23.
