International Corn Market
The international corn market remains active, with the latest export sales data showing robust activity for U.S. corn. Key highlights include:
2024/25 U.S. Corn Sales:
Total: 1.175 million metric tons (MMT), exceeding the lower end of trade expectations (0.8–1.6 MMT).
This marks a 24% increase from the previous week.
Major Buyers:
Mexico: 395,500 MT
Japan: 273,100 MT
Colombia: 204,800 MT
2025/26 U.S. Corn Sales:
A modest 2,540 MT were sold.
South Korean Purchases:
South Korean importers secured 268,000 MT of corn in overnight deals.
At least 65,000 MT of this volume will be sourced from the U.S.
