USDA reported a private export sale of 132,000 tons of corn to South Korea this morning. Export Sales data will be officially updated on Monday, as traders are expecting corn bookings of 0.7 to 1.5 million tons during the week ending December 25.
USDA released the monthly Grains Crushing report this afternoon, showing that 471.87 million bushels of corn were used for ethanol production during November. This was slightly higher than last year, but 0.7% lower than the previous month. Corn grind in the first quarter was only 0.2 million bushels lower compared to 2024/25.
On Wednesday afternoon, USDA released the payment details under the Farm Bridge Assistance program, with corn payments set at $44.36 per acre, while sorghum payments were listed at $48.11 per acre.
