EIA data will be released on Wednesday morning. Traders expect ethanol production to remain steady following last week’s sharp increase in ethanol stocks and a decline in refiner inputs.
A few South Korean importers purchased a total of 264,000 metric tons of corn through overnight tenders. In addition, another tender has been issued for 140,000 metric tons of corn, with a Wednesday deadline.
According to ANEC, Brazil’s corn exports for January are projected at 3.27 million metric tons, which is 0.42 million metric tons higher than the previous estimate.
