International Soybean Market
The market remains uncertain about the 10% import tariff set to take effect in China from February 1, or at least does not expect any retaliatory action against U.S. soybeans.
Export Sales data will be released on Thursday morning. Estimates suggest that U.S. soybean bookings for the 2024/25 season, for the week ending January 23, will range between 0.45 and 1.7 million metric tons (MMT).
Other estimates include:
Soybean meal sales: 100,000 to 450,000 metric tons (MT)
Soybean oil sales: 4,000 to 20,000 metric tons (MT)
