The discovery process for crop insurance harvest price is currently underway, based on the average November soybean close during October. So far, the two-day average stands at $10.18, compared to the spring price of $10.54.
After Secretary Bessent hinted at news expected on Tuesday, the Wall Street Journal reported that the White House is considering an aid package of $10–14 billion for producers, though no details were provided.
S&P Global on Thursday trimmed its US soybean yield estimate to 53.0 bushels per acre, down 0.8 bushels from last month. Production is now pegged at 4.261 billion bushels.
