The EPA released its RVO announcement this morning, proposing a 5.61 billion gallon limit for biomass-based diesel starting in 2026 and 5.86 billion gallons for 2027, which was well above the rumored totals from a few weeks ago. It also proposed cutting RIN credits to half for imported feedstocks. The Friday afternoon Commitment of Traders report from CFTC showed managed money increased their net long position by 17,038 contracts as of June 10. The net long stood at 25,639 contracts as of Tuesday. NOPA crush data will be released on Monday with traders expecting 193.52 million bushels of soybeans crushed by members in May. Export sales data showed US soybean export commitments at 48.713 million metric tons, which is 97 percent of the current USDA forecast and below the average sales pace of 100 percent. Shipments for the marketing year are at 45.119 million metric tons, 90 percent of the full-year projection and matching the normal shipping pace.
