Weekly Export Sales data will be released Thursday morning. For the week ending July 3, old crop corn sales are expected between 300,000 and 600,000 metric tons, with new crop sales ranging from 50,000 to 400,000 metric tons. Soybean meal sales are projected between 125,000 and 950,000 metric tons, while soybean oil sales are expected between 0 and 30,000 metric tons.
Rainfall of 1 to 3 inches is expected this week in the Central Corn Belt, while the western Plains and parts of the Eastern Corn Belt may see lighter, scattered rainfall.
Ahead of Friday’s USDA report, analysts expect a 10 million bushel increase in old crop soybean stocks, bringing the total to 360 million bushels. For the new crop, a 7 million bushel reduction in production is anticipated, lowering output to 4.333 billion bushels. Ending stocks for 2025/26 are estimated at 302 million bushels, up 7 million bushels from June.
