USDA has officially returned to a normal Export Sales release schedule. Analysts expect soybean export sales of 0.75 to 1.3 million metric tons for the 2025/26 season in the week ending January 1. Sales for the 2026/27 season are seen in the range of 0 to 300,000 metric tons.
Soybean meal bookings are estimated at 100,000 to 350,000 metric tons, while soybean oil sales are expected between 0 and 30,000 metric tons.
Crop Production data will be released on Monday. The annual report is expected to show the final 2025 soybean yield at 52.7 bushels per acre. According to a Bloomberg survey of analysts, total production is pegged at 4.23 billion bushels.
