International Wheat Market
Markets and government offices will remain closed on Thursday in observance of Juneteenth, and all government reports will be delayed by one day. Friday morning’s Export Sales report is expected to show 300,000 to 600,000 metric tons of wheat sales for 2025/26 in the week ending June 12.
FranceAgriMer lowered its French soft wheat ending stocks estimate by 0.14 MMT from last month to 2.48 MMT.
Recent rainfall in parts of the Southern Plains has continued to slow the US winter wheat harvest. However, the forecast for much of this area is drier for the next week, with some precipitation expected in northwest Kansas. In Russia, the Krasnodar region, a major wheat-producing area, has declared a drought emergency, following a similar declaration by the Rostov region last week.
