US Wheat Export Sales:
Weekly export sales data for 12/12 totaled 457,933 metric tons.
This marked a 4-week high, though it fell short of trade expectations of 550,000 metric tons by 225,000 metric tons.
Purchasing Activity:
The Philippines purchased 83,000 metric tons of wheat, with 80,800 metric tons sold to Venezuela.
South Korea imported 86,800 metric tons of wheat from the US overnight.
US Wheat Production Forecast:
Strategy Grains estimates the 2025/26 US wheat crop to reach 126.6 million metric tons (MMT).
This represents an increase of 12.4 MMT compared to the previous year.
