Madhya Pradesh Chickpea and Lentil Sowing Report

- Indore Region: Chickpea sowing is slow, 20-25% lower than last year.

- Ashoknagar Region: Farmers' interest in chickpea sowing is low, with a 30-35% decrease compared to last year. However, lentil sowing is 20-25% higher than last year.

- Bina Region: Chickpea sowing is the same as last year, but lentil sowing is 5-10% lower.

- Ganjbasoda Region: Both chickpea and lentil sowing are 25-30% lower than last year. Farmers are focusing more on wheat sowing.

- Jabalpur Region: Chickpea sowing is weak, 30-40% lower than last year, and lentil sowing is 20-25% lower.

- Pipariya Region: Farmers' interest in chickpea has increased, with a 20-25% rise in sowing compared to last year.

- Sagar Region: Both chickpea and lentil sowing are weak, 25-30% lower than last year.

- Damoh Region: Chickpea and lentil sowing is the same as last year.

- Vidisha Region: Chickpea sowing is the same as last year, but lentil sowing has decreased by 15-20%.

Kabuli Chickpea:

- Indore Region: Sowing of Kabul chickpea is 20% lower than last year.

- Dewas Region: Kabul chickpea sowing is weak, 25-30% lower than last year.

- Ratlam Region: Kabul chickpea sowing has increased, 20-25% higher than last year.
