Naresh Gupta elected as President and Gaurav Gupta as Vice President (Fourth) in DGMA elections

New Delhi. In the elections of Delhi Grain Merchants Association (DGMA), the largest organization of foodgrain traders in Asia,

Naresh Gupta has been declared elected as President and Gaurav Gupta as Vice President. Gaurav Gupta got 353 votes out of a total of 558 votes while Naresh Gupta got 285 votes in the election for the post of President.

As per the results declared on 24 August 2024, Vinod Singh won the post of Secretary with 356 votes while Umang won with 414 votes for the post of Joint Secretary.

It is noteworthy that elections were held only for the above four posts, while the candidates for the remaining 5 posts were elected unopposed.

The candidates elected unopposed include Sanjay Singhal (General Secretary), Shankar Jindal (Treasurer), Anil Gupta (Vice President I), Rajesh Jain (Vice President II) and Anil Kumar Kulwal (Vice President III).

Gaurav Gupta was almost certain to be elected for the post of fourth vice president and he won by a margin of 153 votes.

After the completion of the election process, all the office bearers will now focus on their responsibilities.
