★ आल इंडिया राइस एक्सपोर्टर एसोसिएशन ने सरकार से जल्द से जल्द बासमती चावल पर लगे न्यूनतम निर्यात भाव (MEP) घटाने की मांग की।

★ अभी बासमती चावल निर्यात पर 950$/टन की MEP लगती है जिसे एसोसिएशन घटाकर 700$ कराना चाहती है।

★ एसोसिएशन के अनुसार MEP लगाए जाने के बाद भारतीय चावल पाकिस्तानी चावल से 50-100$/टन अधिक।

★ All India Rice Exporters Association has demanded the government to reduce the minimum export price (MEP) on Basmati rice as soon as possible.

★ Currently, MEP of 950$/ton is charged on Basmati rice export, which the association wants to reduce to 700$.

★ According to the association, after the imposition of MEP, Indian rice will be 50-100$/ton more expensive than Pakistani rice.
