★ CACP ने दलहन उत्पादन बढ़ाने के लिए केंद्र को दिया सुझाव।
★ दरअसल पिछले 2 सीजन से भाव MSP से नीचे होने के कारण एक तरफ किसानों का रुझान घटता दिखा तो दूसरी ओर सरकारी खरीद पर पड़ा असर।
★ बीते सीजन में 2.4 लाख टन मसूर खरीद की गयी थी।
★ मसूर के मुकाबले चना की कीमतें MSP से रही अधिक और गत सीजन में सरकारी कांटे पर नहीं तुल पाया चना।
★ CACP ने सरकार से दलहन उत्पादन बढ़ाने, आयात निर्भरता घटाने के लिए केंद्र द्वारा सभी राज्यों को मसूर की अच्छी खरीद करने का दिया सुझाव।

★ CACP suggested to the Center to increase the production of pulses.
★ In fact, due to the prices being below MSP for the last 2 seasons, on one hand the interest of farmers was seen decreasing and on the other hand it had an impact on government procurement.
★ In the last season, 2.4 lakh tons of lentils were procured.
★ In comparison to lentils, the prices of gram were higher than MSP and in the last season gram could not be weighed on the government weighing scale.
★ CACP suggested to the government to increase the production of pulses, reduce import dependency, the Center should make good procurement of lentils from all the states.
