★ भारत और कनाडा के बीच अगर तनाव और बढ़ा तो इससे मसूर बाजारों पर नहीं पड़ेगा अधिक असर क्योंकि पहले से ही देश में पर्याप्त मात्रा में मसूर आयात हो चुकी है।
★ प्राप्त जानकरी के अनुसार साथ ही सरकार के पास 8 लाख टन मसूर स्टॉक भी उपलब्ध, नई फसल बिजाई भी जल्द होगी शुरू।
★ आयातक ऑस्ट्रेलिया से कर रहे हैं अधिक सौदे।
★ मसूर आयात मामले में कनाडा की हिस्सेदारी धीरे-धीरे घट रही है तथा ऑस्ट्रेलिया, टर्की, रशिया की बढ़ी।
★ मसूर के साथ-साथ देश में मटर का स्टॉक भी पर्याप्त मात्रा में उपलब्ध।
★ मटर मामले में भारत की आत्मनिर्भरता कनाडा से घटी परन्तु रूस से बढ़ी।
★ कनाडा व रूस से दो-तीन बड़ी खेप जिसमें करीब 88 हजार टन के आसपास मटर है, भारतीय पोर्ट पर जल्द ही पहुंचेगी। एक शिपमेंट मूंदड़ा पोर्ट पर 25 अक्टूबर को पहुंचने की सम्भावना।

★ If the tension between India and Canada increases further, it will not have much effect on the lentil markets because enough lentils have already been imported in the country.
★ According to the information received, the government also has 8 lakh tons of lentil stock available, sowing of new crop will also start soon.
★ Importers are doing more deals with Australia.
★ Canada's share in lentil imports is gradually decreasing and that of Australia, Turkey, Russia has increased.
★ Along with lentils, there is also enough stock of peas available in the country.
★ India's self-sufficiency in peas decreased from Canada but increased from Russia.
★ Two-three big consignments from Canada and Russia, which contain around 88 thousand tons of peas, will reach Indian ports soon. One shipment is likely to reach Mundra Port on October 25.
