★ बासमती चावल के न्यूनतम आयात भाव (MIP) में कटौती किये जाने की उम्मीद।
★ अभी बासमती चावल निर्यात पर 950$/टन की MIP लगती है ।
★ MIP लगाये जाने के बाद भी बासमती चावल निर्यात में देखी गयी बढ़त।
★ अप्रैल से मई तक 9.6 लाख टन बासमती चावल का हुआ निर्यात गत वर्ष की समानअवधि से 15% अधिक।
★ देश की कई संस्थाओं ने सरकार से निर्यात नियमों में बदलाव करने को कहा।
★ 2023 में 80 लाख टन बासमती चावल का हुआ था उत्पादन 2022 से 20% अधिक।
★ अगले वर्ष के लिए बकाया स्टॉक 15-20 लाख टन बचने की उम्मीद।
