News Capsule: Chhattisgarh to Procure Pulses and Oilseeds at MSP
★ Under the Prime Minister’s Annadata Income Protection Scheme (Price Support Scheme – PSS), the state of Chhattisgarh will procure pulses and oilseeds at Minimum Support Price (MSP). The last date for farmer registration is February 28.

Kharif Marketing Year 2025–26
Procurement period: December 25 to April 24, 2026
Crops and MSP:
* Moong (green gram) – ₹8,768 per quintal
* Urad (black gram) – ₹7,800 per quintal
* Groundnut – ₹7,263 per quintal

Rabi Marketing Year 2026–27
Crops and MSP:
* Gram (chickpea) – ₹5,875 per quintal
* Mustard – ₹6,200 per quintal
* Lentil – ₹7,000 per quintal
★ The procurement aims to ensure fair prices and income protection for farmers in the state.
