Over 80,000 Acres of Crops Affected by Waterlogging in Hisar
★ Cotton and paddy hit the hardest
★ Cotton crops suffered damage on about 39,743 acres, with losses ranging from 25–50%, and in some areas reaching 100%.
★ Paddy crops were also severely affected, with around 24,200 acres impacted.
★ Other affected crops include moong – 4,290 acres, bajra – 6,452 acres, groundnut – 730 acres, fodder – 1,930 acres, and guar – 2,845 acres.
★ The government is in the process of preparing the final assessment report.
