Peas – Market Stable to Weaker
★ Harvest in Canada is considered complete and initial harvest reports are coming in from Australia.
★ According to foreign sources, there is ongoing concern in the market that India may soon end duty-free imports of yellow peas.
★ There is strong public pressure in India to impose at least a 50% import duty on yellow peas, lentils, and some other pulses (this news is circulating abroad).
