Rabi Crop Production in Telangana: Agriculture Department
★ In Telangana, paddy has been sown in 22.87 lakh hectares during the current rabi season, which is 10% higher than 20.83 lakh hectares in the previous year.
★ During the last kharif season, Telangana recorded a record production of 146 lakh tonnes of crops.
★ In the ongoing rabi season, paddy production is expected to reach 297 lakh tonnes. Paddy has been sown in 22.87 lakh hectares, compared to 20.83 lakh hectares last year.
