★ As of 28 September 2025, the country as a whole has received an average of 930.3 mm of rainfall, which is 8% above the long-period average (861.3 mm).

Region-wise status is as follows:
★ East & Northeast India: Received 1088.0 mm of rainfall against the normal 1354.8 mm, showing a 20% deficit.
★ Northwest India: Recorded 746.1 mm of rainfall compared to the normal 585.2 mm, indicating a 28% surplus.
★ Central India: Registered 1111.9 mm of rainfall against the normal 971.3 mm, which is 14% above normal.
★ South Peninsular India: Recorded 779.6 mm of rainfall compared to the normal 704.7 mm, showing an 11% surplus.
★ Overall, the country has received above-normal rainfall in most regions, while East & Northeast India continues to face a rainfall deficit.
