स्पेशल रिपोर्ट: तुवर, उड़द, और मूंग
★ विदेशो से बड़ी मात्रा में तुवर और उड़द का हो रहा है आयात। अप्रैल से जुलाई 2024 तक करीब 2.75 लाख टन तुवर और 2.5 लाख टन हुआ उड़द का आयात। तुवर आयात पिछले वर्ष की समानवधि से 1 लाख टन और उड़द का 1.16 लाख टन अधिक। 
★ म्यांमार में रिकॉर्ड तुवर और उडद का हुआ था उत्पादन। आगामी सीजन भी अच्छे उत्पादन की उम्मीद। 
★ अफ्रीकन देशों से बढ़ी मात्रा में हो रहे हैं तुवर आयात सौदे, नई घरेलु फसल आने से पहले अफ्रीका और म्यांमार बढ़ी से बढ़ी मात्रा में करना चाहेंगे निर्यात। 
★ भारत में तुवर का रकबा बढ़ा, मौसम फसल के अनुकूल। म्यांमार में भी मौसम फसल के अनुकूल। 
★ भारत और म्यांमार में फसल की कटाई एक से समय में होती हैं। 
★ एक तरफ घरेलू फसल बाज़ारों में आएगी तो दूसरी ओर म्यंमार से भी होता रहेगा आयात, भविष्य में तुवर की उपलब्धता अच्छी रहने की उम्मीद। 
मटर आयात होने के कारण तुवर की खपत पर पड़ा असर। 
★ तुवर के साथ साथ म्यांमार में उड़द का उत्पादन बढ़ने की उम्मीद, भारत में भी मौसम फसल के अनुकूल। नई फसल जल्द ही बाज़ारों में आनी होगी शुरू। 
★ मूंग बिजाई भी बढ़ी , प्रमुख उत्पादक राज्य राजस्थान में जोरदार फसल आने की उम्मीद। भविष्य में मूंग उपलब्धता अच्छी रहने की उम्मीद।

Special Report: Tuvar, Urad, and Moong
★ Large quantities of Tuvar and Urad are being imported from abroad. From April to July 2024, about 2.75 lakh tonnes of Tuvar and 2.5 lakh tonnes of Urad were imported. Tuvar imports increased by 1 lakh tonnes and Urad by 1.16 lakh tonnes from the same period last year.
★ Record Tuvar and Urad production was done in Myanmar. Good production is also expected in the upcoming season.
★ Tuvar import deals are being done in large quantities from African countries, Africa and Myanmar would like to export in large quantities before the new domestic crop arrives.
★ Tuvar acreage increased in India, weather favorable for crop. Weather favorable for crop in Myanmar too.
★ Crop harvesting takes place at the same time in India and Myanmar.
★ On one hand, domestic crop will come in the market and on the other hand, import will continue from Myanmar as well, availability of tur is expected to remain good in future.
Due to import of peas, consumption of tur was affected.
★ Along with tur, production of urad is expected to increase in Myanmar, weather in India is also favourable for the crop. New crop will start coming in the markets soon.
★ Moong sowing has also increased, a bumper crop is expected in the major producing state Rajasthan. Moong availability is expected to remain good in future.
