Strength in Mustard Market, Slight Rise in Mustard Oil Prices
Mustard
★ Mustard prices across the country continued to show an upward trend. On August 18, Charkhi Dadri and Agra Shamshabad Saloni markets saw a rise of ₹150 per quintal. In Bharatpur, mustard gained ₹141 to reach ₹7,066, while prices in Delhi remained stable at ₹7,100.
★ Compared to July and June, mustard remained stronger in all major markets. Delhi was up by ₹550 from June, Charkhi Dadri by ₹725, Bharatpur by ₹666, and Agra by ₹700.

Mustard Oil
★ Mustard oil also witnessed slight gains. Charkhi Dadri expeller rose by ₹20 to ₹1,595 per 10 kg, while Bharatpur kacchi ghani and expeller oil prices remained unchanged.
★ On a monthly comparison, Charkhi Dadri expeller declined by ₹25 against July, while Bharatpur kacchi ghani and expeller were down by ₹10. However, compared to June, mustard oil is still stronger by ₹185 to ₹210.\
★ With festive demand and active stockist buying, mustard and mustard oil prices are expected to remain firm in the coming days. If prices continue to rise, the upcoming mustard sowing may also increase.
