Sugarcane Sowing Reaches 55.16 Lakh Hectares – Marginal Increase Noted
★ During the Kharif 2025 season, sugarcane sowing in India has seen a slight rise.
★ According to the Ministry of Agriculture, as of July 11, 2025, sugarcane has been sown over 55.16 lakh hectares, compared to 54.88 lakh hectares during the same period last year—an increase of 0.28 lakh hectares.
