धान की सरकारी खरीद शुरू होने से पहले पंजाब व हरियाणा के गोदामों में जगह की कमी
★ 1 अक्टूबर से पंजाब, हरियाणा, उत्तर प्रदेश व अन्य राज्यों में हो सकती है धान की सरकारी खरीद शुरू।
★ इसके अलावा उड़ीसा, छत्तीसगढ़ में भी जगह की कमी देखी जा रही है जिसका मुख्य कारण स्टॉक अधिक होना है।
★ 1 अगस्त को केंद्रीय पूल में 328 लाख टन चावल का स्टॉक उपलब्ध। इसके अलावा 190 लाख टन अनिमिल्ड धान भी गोदामों में पड़ा।
★ 1 अगस्त को पंजाब, हरियाणा में 155 लाख टन धान उपलब्ध। पंजाब व हरियाणा के मिलर्स के पास 14 लाख टन धान शेलिंग के लिए आया।
★ 2023-24 सीजन में धान की खरीद 775 लाख टन की गयी निर्यात रोके जाने व अधिक खरीद होने से देश में चावल का विशाल स्टॉक उपलब्ध।
★ सरकार को जल्द से जल्द निर्यात को पहले की तरह खोलना चाहिए।
★ चालू सीजन में धान बिजाई 4% उछलकर 394 लाख हेक्टेयर पहुंची।
★ देश में चावल के विशाल स्टॉक आगामी अच्छी फसल को देखते हुए भविष्य में चावल की कीमतों पर दबाव बना रह सकता है।
★ देखना होगा कि निर्यात में ढील कब दी जाती है। निर्यात का सहारा मिलने से थोड़ी-बहुत तेजी की उम्मीद।

★ Government procurement of paddy may start from October 1 in Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and other states.
★ Apart from this, shortage of space is also being seen in Orissa, Chhattisgarh, the main reason for which is high stock.
★ On August 1, 328 lakh tonnes of rice stock available in the central pool. Apart from this, 190 lakh tonnes of unmilled paddy also lay in the warehouses.
★ On August 1, 155 lakh tonnes of paddy available in Punjab, Haryana. 14 lakh tonnes of paddy came to the millers of Punjab and Haryana for shelling.
★ In the 2023-24 season, paddy procurement was 775 lakh tonnes. Due to ban on export and more procurement, huge stock of rice is available in the country.
★ The government should open exports as before as soon as possible.
★ In the current season, paddy sowing jumped 4% to 394 lakh hectares.
★ There may be pressure on rice prices in future due to huge stock of rice in the country and upcoming good harvest.
★ It remains to be seen when exports are relaxed. Some uptrend is expected with support from exports.
