Total cereal production in Turkey is estimated at 37.4 million metric tons in 2025, marking a 4.1% decline compared to the previous year.

Decline in Major Crops (in million metric tons):

Wheat: 19.6 MMT, Down by 5.8%

Barley: 7.5 MMT, Down by 8%

Rye: 0.243 MMT, Down by 5.5%

Oats: 0.3 MMT, sharp drop of 23.1%

Corn: 8.5 MMT, slight decline 4.9%

Sunflower: 2.3 MMT Down by 4.8%

Soybean: 0.16 MMT, Down by 11%

Chickpeas: 0.605 MMT

Dry Beans: 0.283 MMT

Red Lentils: 0.34 MMT
