★ According to the UGA Traders Union, the export of major agricultural commodities fell by 34.7% year-on-year in December 2024. Shipments via Ukraine's Black Sea ports were the most affected.  
★ Data shows that grain, oilseed, and vegetable oil exports totaled approximately 4.7 million tonnes (Mt) in December 2024, compared to 7.2Mt in December 2023. Wheat exports fell from 1.84Mt to 789,000 tonnes, while corn exports declined from 3.12Mt to 2.5Mt.  
★ From the beginning of July last year to January 25 this year, total exports amounted to 24.75Mt, of which 2.5Mt were shipped in January. By comparison, total exports by January 2024 stood at 22.25Mt, with January 2024 alone recording a peak of 3.68Mt.
